Absense of Color

What would social media look like without Black’s. Can you say A big “picnic” or better yet a Klan rally… I believe that the reason some whites are not as blatant racist on social media is because of our presence, but if it was just whites you’d see their true colors. They’d let it all out for you to see, just how truly Racist America is. The masses that say don’t talk about race, don’t play the race card, reverse racism, and foolishness like that all the while never truly trying to end racism. They spew all of those things pout of their mouth but never truly want to end racism, or modern day slavery which is the jail system and the propaganda used to take out the black race. Social media would be the place the N***** word would be most used. Their would be blogs on how blacks ruined someone’s day, or sites were you laugh at some of our cultures, and beliefs we hold dearest such as dancing, music, and expression. Social media is a reflection of peoples true feelings because most of the things you put on these sites have no true physical consequences, yeah you might get someone upset or confused, but for the most part you can say things without consequence. That is where the problem would lie with social media without the Black presence; whites would be free to post anything and everything without consequence therefore the true feelings would hit the screen and we all know what those are.

In the past before all of this information was made available through the internet Black’s weren’t able to access the information on things that really mattered. The search started when they unleashed the internet. Its were Blacks go to learn more about our home. We are now able to study Africa, and the things that we may have been doing, or what we may have looked liked, or who we would pray to by using the internet. Black agenda isn’t the same agenda as the masses, so with that being known the funding required to achieve the same gains in technology, business, and education which is very expensive; aren’t as easily attainable.

The sites that I frequent I see Black’s thirsty for knowledge and truth about our true identity. I see intellectuals teaching awakened black young and old, I see information getting updated and corrected through links and videos, I see the enlightenment that is coming. I started my search after Trayvon Martin and I was so upset I directed my anger in a positive way and I’m a better more educated person because of it.

InstaGram OVER PINTEREST

I don’t think theirs any question who the target market is for Pinterest; its white woman who have hobbies and want to spend money. Now I don’t know about you but that does not sound very appealing to a twenty one year old black kid, who just wants to share his/her new tattoo. I think Pinterest ( don’t know not very familiar with Pinterest) is more and on and time consuming. You have to put things together and browse and search through tons of arbitrary things for sell. Then on the other hand you have Instagram (IG) where you hit share and all of your friends can interact with you in as little as time it takes you to hit the share button on your phone. Also the phone; the phone is also a great contributor to the ease of access through IG. It would be much more difficult to do Pinterest on the go, but the site such as IG have apps to make the on the go process extremely convenient.

Blacks on social media (FB)

I believe that black use social media networks such as Facebook to empower them selves and promote their ideas of black. Everyone shares the viral videos, everyone shares the selfies, everyone share their family pictures, but only blacks share raw emotion. whether it be grave sites, tee shirts with r.i.p., slaves, hangings, blacks are showing many faces on social networks. Even the ones showing money, drugs, sexual content, this is what black means to them.

the fact that their are a lot of cyber hacking and identity theft going on, not only that their are real life predators on the internet and pedophilia going on. Its just not safe out here in this world. yeah, you are a home or a library, or over a friends sitting on your butt typing away, its not like they can actually figure out where you are. Or can they, the problem with this situation is the fact that we don’t know what hackers are capable of, we don’t know what these companies are doing with our information, we don’t know who the government is selling us out too or for, their are just too many variables so the only way to protect yourself and the precious information you put out there (whether it be credit card information, a selfie, or just a random picture of your front yard) is to remain cautious and vigilant of all sites and people you come across on these social media sites. You just never know anymore, hackers are more prevalent and they want more and more of your info. So always like these teens take the proper precautions.
